Hello David,

You are very right: online scoreboards were originally next on the list... But then, Apple released iOS 4 and announced that their new Game Center API would be available "Very Soon Now™"...
Since there is a good chance that this API will overlap considerably with whatever I might do to support online scoreboards, I have decided to postpone this feature a little bit and see how I can leverage Game Center (when the specs reach maturity) to avoid reinventing the wheel...

In the meantime, there are still plenty new features in the pipeline... Including the first paid add-on for KanjiBox, being tested right now... and generating a fair bit of excitement among people who've seen it so far. Stay tuned for a new release soon ;-)

shemtheo: thanks for your kind support and for that report.
Sounds like a strange bug. I will look into it and might contact you later for details if I can't replicate it on my own.

Dave,
I've been using kanjibox for a few days now and I have to say that it's really a great app; I hope you make bank from it. I have discovered one kinda annoying glitch though: for some strange reason the ヲ kana never comes up as the primary kana...never. It shows as incorrect choices, but never as the correct one, and I've literally spent hours trying to get it to come up, even choosing it every time it was the wrong option to try to get it to come up as the right one.
Love the app though, really do. Keep up the good work.

Hi Dave,

Thanks for all your work on kanjibox and your patience with Apple's severly flawed app approval system.

I've currently been getting two recurring problems on my second generation ipod touch running the latest release of the 3.0 OS.

In verion 5.0.2 of Kanji box, I'm getting the following problems:
-Random crash when viewing kanji larger when doing kanji drill. The crash sometimes occurse when selecting one from the list at the bottom in the kanji drill screen, and sometimes it occurs when pressing the button in the upper left to go back to kanji drill.
-Freeze when attepting to do vocab drill on JLPL 3. This happens 99% of the time, and I have only been able to get in successfully once. Vocab drill works propelry on all other difficulty levels.

Also, though it will be a long time before I ever get there, I noticed that sensei level hasn't been added to the statistics screen yet.
